It was a great day for baseball, with cool temps but sunshine breaking through as Salida took on the Gunnison Cowboys in the opening baseball game of the 2021 season. The Spartans would fall, but would win the second half of the game as they found their rhythm late. Play by play begins at about the four minute mark.
