Pet of the Week: Ruca & Ramona

Meet Ruca & Ramona! They are the Heart of the Rockies Radio Pets of the Week!

This mother daughter duo, Ruca & Ramona, is looking for a forever home together! Ruca is 5 years old and Ramona is 3 years old, both are female Tibetan Spaniel/Pekingese mixes. This pair would love to stay together as they really come out of their shells when they have one another. Ramona is definitely the more social of the pair, but Ruca can be just as loving once she warms up to you! If you are interested in adopting this dynamic duo head to our website ark-valley.org and fill out an application today!

And since they’re our pets of the week they will have BOGO adoption fees, pay just one adoption fee for the pair!

All adoptable animals receive the following services prior to adoption:

  • Spay or Neuter
  • Age-appropriate boosters
  • De-wormer
  • Vaccines
  • Microchip

Because Ruca & Ramona are the Pets of the Week, her adoption fees are 50% off (Adoption fees vary by age and animal). Visit the Ark Valley Humane Society’s website to learn more.

The Ark Valley Humane Society is open and available by appointment only, make sure to call 719-395-2737 and schedule an appointment before coming to the shelter! If you or someone you know is in need of pet food, we have community pet food available! Just call us to arrange a contactless pick up!

Meet Bear!

This 9 week old Chihuahua and Dachshund–he’s a Chiweenie like my dog Chewy–made a special appearance in studio. He’s not available for adoption just yet… but he will be (unless one of us adopts him first).
