The Saguache County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that human remains found by a hiker on June 17th are those of 55-year-old Edna Quintana, who went missing in May 2023.
Quintana was last seen on May 3, 2023, while rock hunting along County Road 46AA, north of the town of Saguache. Her disappearance prompted extensive search efforts at the time.
According to authorities, a hiker discovered the remains in a remote area of the county, and the Saguache County Coroner later confirmed the identity.
