The Saguache County Housing Authority is moving forward with construction of the Range View Apartments, a 32-unit multi-family affordable housing development in Saguache.
The project is expected to be completed later this summer. Housing officials are currently accepting names for an interested list, which will be converted into an official waiting list once leasing begins.
The development will include one-, two-, and three-bedroom units and is located in Saguache, a bedroom community for both Salida and Alamosa. Amenities at Range View Apartments will include washer and dryer hookups in units, an onsite laundry facility, a children’s play area, a garden space, and outdoor fitness equipment.
The apartment complex is within walking distance of the Saguache post office, library, restaurants, a bank, and a small grocery store. Saguache is located approximately 46 miles from Salida along Highway 285 and about 45 miles from Alamosa.
