Presidential Primary and Buena Vista Elections

The Presidential Primary Election is next Tuesday, March 3rd.

Voters who are registered Republican or Democrat have received the ballot for their respective primary.  Unaffiliated voters have received both Republican and Democrat ballots, choose one and return only one.

At this point it is too late to mail your ballot.  Return your ballot in person.

Voters can also vote in person.

In Chaffee County, almost 4,000 ballots have been returned.

This is the first Presidential Primary in Colorado in 20 years.

Buena Vista is gearing up for their municipal election.

On the ballot will be four candidates for three open trustee seats.

Incumbents Norm Nyberg and Lawanna Best are running for re-election, while Devin Rowe and Amy Eckstein are running for the seat vacated by Mark Jenkins.

The candidates with the top three vote totals win the election.

Buena Vista ballots will be put in the mail March 16 and must be returned by April 7.
