The Poncha Springs Board of Trustees will convene this evening at 6:30 p.m. to address several important community matters, including funding requests, board appointments, and local initiatives.
Among the highlights of the agenda, Trustees will hear a presentation and funding request from Guidestone Colorado and Hutchinson Homestead, organizations focused on community development and preservation.
The board will also consider filling a current vacancy on the Board of Trustees. Candidates Danielle Cook and Rich Mancuso are both being considered for the position.
In addition, Trustees are expected to make an official Arbor Day Proclamation, designating May 16th to align with the town’s Clean Up Day—an effort aimed at encouraging community involvement and environmental stewardship.
Rounding out the agenda, the board will discuss a proposed budget amendment to support increased salary and benefits for law enforcement, specifically for the Code Enforcement Officer.
Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting to stay informed and engaged with local decisions impacting the Poncha Springs community.
