The Pike and San Isabel National Forests are hiring seasonal employees for the upcoming recreation season and are encouraging local residents to apply.
Available positions will be posted this Friday at usajobs.gov. The U.S. Forest Service will be recruiting for a variety of roles, including recreation and visitor services, trail and facility maintenance, and active resource management.
These seasonal opportunities are in addition to ongoing seasonal fire hire events already underway.
Officials say the positions offer a chance to work outdoors while supporting public lands and visitor services throughout the region.
