Today is the deadline to return petitions to run for three Poncha Springs trustee seats in the upcoming November election. Petitions must be returned to the Town Clerk by 5pm today. You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of Poncha Springs for 12 consecutive months.
Petitions must be returned today for Buena Vista’s next regular municipal election to be held November 3rd. Voters will elect a mayor and three town trustees.
The deadline to return applications to fill a vacant seat on the Buena Vista School Board is also today. Applicants are scheduled to be interviewed by the Board of Education at their August 31st meeting.
