Over 76% of Chaffee County Voters Counted

Chaffee County Clerk Lori Mitchell is reporting that a total of 11,632 votes have been cast for the general election as of yesterday, or just over 76 percent of all registered voters.

Drop off your ballot at one of the secure drop boxes or vote in-person at a polling place to ensure your vote is counted.

The drive through voter center outside the Chaffee County Courthouse on Crestone Avenue in Salida is open.

Two more vote centers are open, at the Fairgrounds and the Buena Vista Community Center.  Hours will be 10 am to 4:30 pm today, 7 am to 7 pm tomorrow.

Ballots must be received by 7pm tomorrow night.
