Ark Valley Indivisible is organizing the “No Kings 3” march and rally this Saturday in Salida as part of a nationwide day of action.
The event is scheduled from noon to 2:30 p.m., beginning at Alpine Park. Participants will then march to Riverside Park, where a resource fair, guest speakers, and live music are planned.
Organizers say the event is part of a broader national mobilization supporting democracy, freedom of speech, the rule of law, and human dignity.
Ahead of the rally, a sign-making social will be held tonight from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at The Office Bar in downtown Salida, located at 146 West 1st Street. Community members are invited to stop by, create signs, and connect with others planning to attend the march.
