The Buena Vista Police Department will host a specialized training session focused on building security, threat assessment, and emergency preparedness on April 8.
According to BV Police, the training is being offered in response to community requests and increased interest in improving safety measures for local churches and businesses.
The session will provide practical guidance on identifying potential threats, strengthening building security, and preparing for emergency situations.
Seating for the training is limited to 26 participants. Those interested in attending are encouraged to reserve a spot in advance by contacting Chief Dean Morgan.
The training is free of charge.
