Chaffee County Public Health has confirmed a case of measles in an out-of-state visitor who was in the area recently. Health officials are notifying the public of a potential exposure site:
- Location: Monarch at the Crest gift shop
- Date/Time: Friday, July 25th between 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
- Action: Anyone who was at the gift shop during that time should monitor for symptoms through August 15th and consider avoiding public gatherings or high-risk environments, especially if unvaccinated.

- Red eyes
- Rash beginning on the face and spreading to the body (typically a few days after initial symptoms)
