So… you want to smuggle drugs in your burrito? That’s four years in the Colorado Department of Corrections.
That was the sentence handed down yesterday to 28-year-old Trevor Martineau of Buena Vista. Martineau pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance after he was arrested on his way to work as a Buena Vista Correctional Facility guard July 2nd of last year. Inside his lunchbox was found a burrito filled with meth, heroin, marijuana wax, along with other drugs and 6 small thumb drives.
Besides the 4 years in prison, Martineau will have to serve two years on parole.
