League of Women Voters to Host Forum on Domestic and Sexual Violence

The League of Women Voters of Chaffee County will host a public forum on domestic and sexual violence from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the Chaffee County Public Safety Complex in Buena Vista.

The forum will feature representatives from The Alliance, an organization that works directly with survivors of domestic violence. Speakers will discuss the challenges facing local residents, ways the community can offer support, and how new federal funding and policies are affecting services for survivors.
