Leadville’s historic Tabor Opera House has received a Colorado Department of Local Affairs grant of $580,000.
A multi-year rehabilitation began at the Tabor in 2020. The new funds will enable the Tabor Opera House Preservation Foundation to complete final repairs to the façade by 2025.
Once the Tabor’s exterior is complete, efforts will turn to the interior. The goal is to create a local hub for arts and culture that meets today’s community needs.
