Johnathan Edward Lee of Salida Arrested on Burglary Charge

On January 13th, 2024, the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office issued 2 arrest warrants for 36-year-old Johnathan Edward Lee of Salida, for Burglary of a Dwelling, a class 3 Felony. 

Over the past several weeks the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office has investigated several burglaries and in most cases these burglaries happened to residences where the occupants were either out of town for the holidays or for the winter season.

On January 14th, 2024, the Lakewood Police Department arrested Johnathan Lee for the 2 outstanding Chaffee County arrest warrants. Lee is being held in the Jefferson County Detention Facility on a $20,000 cash only bond. 

The Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the remaining burglary cases. 

In August of last year, Lee was arrested for several counts of burglary and possession of a controlled substance. Lee was charged for breaking into the Monarch Ski Area Lodge as well as a residence in Nathrop.
