Fire investigators have determined that the fire that burned a home and killed two people north of Buena Vista last week was unintentional.
The fire probably started in the kitchen.
The fire killed 31-year-old Megan Werner and her son Michael Werner. Two other members of the family escaped the fire, father John Reed and his daughter. Reed was transported to a burn unit and his daughter was unharmed and released to family. A gofundme account has been set up by family, search for Nephew John’s fire fund.
