The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will begin a highway resurfacing project Monday on Highway 69, stretching from Hillside to Texas Creek.

The project will include resurfacing both the northbound and southbound lanes, construction of a maintenance pull-off, installation of new guardrails, as well as fresh striping and updated signage along the corridor.

Work is scheduled to run Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with the project expected to be completed in August.

During construction, traffic will be reduced to a single lane with alternating traffic, and delays of up to 15 minutesare possible for drivers traveling through the work zone. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time while the project is underway.
