A fatality accident closed Highway 24 for several hours yesterday after two separate crashes occurred just east of Florissant.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, one of the incidents involved four vehicles, while the second was a single-vehicle crash. Troopers did not immediately clarify which of the two crashes resulted in a death, but authorities confirm that at least one person was killed.
Two additional people were transported from the scene with injuries.
Both crashes remain under investigation, and no further details have been released.
