With high school sports getting set to begin, we all begin to get a bit anxious for the seasons to start. The same goes for the sports department at Heart of the Rockies Radio, where there are a few small changes in store for the broadcasts and how they will look.
The first, and really the biggest change, the Salida Spartans are heading to The Peak 92.3 exclusively! Instead of wondering if Salida sports will be on the Eagle or on the Peak, you can know, every time the Spartans play (unless it is a game in Buena Vista) the game can be heard on The Peak 92.3. Likewise, all of the Buena Vista Demon’s games can be heard on Eagle Country 104. The same goes for the Sports in the Rockies Coaches Show as well.
Next, we are excited to be bringing to you an expanded schedule of video broadcasts of some games. While this is still in the works, we are planning on bringing soccer, volleyball and even a few football games to you over Facebook Live. Also, we are planning on simulcasting the coaches shows both over the air, and on the Heart of the Rockies Radio Sports Facebook Page!
These are just a few of the changes coming, but one thing that won’t change is the quality of the coverage.
