A Cotopaxi man is okay today after driving his pickup into the Arkansas River yesterday.
58-year-old Paul Eggleston was driving through Big Horn Sheep Canyon yesterday when he slammed on his brakes to avoid a group of bicyclists. His front wheel locked up, sending the truck down an embankment and into the river.
The front of his truck was submerged, but he was able to climb out to safety.
