COVID-19 Antibody Testing Now Available in Chaffee County

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is now equipped to perform antibody testing.

This test looks for proteins associated with the coronavirus and is only available with a doctor’s order.

The presence of antibodies strongly suggest that the patient has been exposed to COVID-19 in the past but does not necessarily mean immunity.

Chaffee County Public Health and HRRMC will continue weekly free testing clinics.  The next clinic will take place Tuesday, June 2, from 10 am to 12 pm, by appointment only.  Call 539-4510 to be screened, approved and scheduled.

Also, Chaffee County Public Health will reopen immunization clinics beginning on Tuesday, June 2.

For the month of June, immunization clinics will be held on Tuesdays form 12 pm to 4 pm and on Thursdays from 3 pm to 4 pm.  All immunizations are by appointment only.
