Family and Youth Initiatives is launching a free “Nurturing Fathers” class series beginning this Monday at the Poncha Springs Town Hall.
The weekly classes will be held every Monday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will run through June 22. The program is designed to support fathers and father figures in building stronger, healthier relationships with their children.
Topics covered in the series include the power of nurturing, overcoming barriers to nurturing, and approaches to discipline and relationship-building.
The classes are free to attend and include both dinner and childcare for participants.
