Forecast for Sept. 9th

Scattered thunderstorms remain a possibility this afternoon and evening though drier air is starting to work into the area leading to elevated fire danger for the end of the week.     

Salida and Buena Vista will see a high of 89.  A low of 49. 

The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 87, a low of 47.   

Leadville and Fairplay look for a high of 71 with a low of 37.
