Election Day is One Week Away

Chaffee County Clerk Lori Mitchell is reporting that as of October 31st, 4,172 ballots had been returned to the clerk’s office.   

October 31st was the last day to mail ballots. Voters can visit a vote center or come to the election office to get a ballot or drop off a ballot.   

The Salida vote center is open at the Scout Hut 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday and 8 am to noon on Saturday. The Buena Vista vote center at the Community Center will open Friday. The vote center in Poncha Springs will be open on Election Day.
