The Cotopaxi School has a new memorial on the property to honor veterans connected with the school.

The monument is a granite stone with a painted American flag with print saying “Honoring Veterans Past, Present and Future. Thank you for your service.” The stone was donated by Mike and Nathan Tezak and the idea for the memorial came from former teacher Debra Krizmanich.

There are plans to add a flagpole and landscaping to the area in front of the High School gym. A dedication ceremony has been planned for November 11th at 11 am at the school.
