Ballots for Colorado’s primary election should now be in voters’ mailboxes across the state.

Voters will choose their preferred candidates for a variety of county, state, and federal offices that will advance to the general election.

Unaffiliated voters will receive both Republican and Democratic primary ballots. However, only one ballot may be returned. Returning both ballots will invalidate the vote.

The last day to mail completed ballots is this Monday. Voters who choose not to mail their ballots can return them in person at their county clerk’s office or at an official ballot drop box.

All ballots must be received by the county clerk’s office no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, June 30.

Election officials encourage voters to return their ballots early to ensure they are received and counted on time.
