Tomorrow is Colorado Gives Day. 

     Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy in Colorado through online giving. 

     Chaffee County residents can learn about and donate to local nonprofit groups participating in Colorado Gives Day while enjoying a special three-course dinner at Eddyline Restaurant tomorrow night. 

     The dinner, hosted by Eddyline and the Chaffee County Community Foundation, will highlight all 22 Chaffee County nonprofits who are participating in Colorado Gives Day through ChaffeeGives.org.  Eddyline will match the first $1,000 given during the dinner. 

     A few seats are still available. 

     Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 at the door.  Reservations may be made by calling 719-966-6000.

Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee. He and his wife Carrie spend their days doing everything the mountains have to offer: hiking, camping, fishing and skiing. They've raised 3 children and have 2 grandchildren.
