City of Salida to Present New Land Use Code and Zoning Map Tonight

The City of Salida is inviting the public to a meeting tonight from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the SteamPlant to review the consolidated draft of the Land Use Code and the new Zoning Map.

The city has not done a comprehensive rewrite of its Land Use Code in nearly 15 years. Officials say the update reflects significant community growth and evolving needs.

The final draft is expected to go before the Planning Commission and City Council for review later this summer.
