Chaffee County Public Health is reporting 23 new positive Covid-19 cases in the last 7 days, 54 in the last 14 days, for a 2-week positivity rate of 4.05%.
None of the new cases required hospitalization, all are resting at home.
The San Luis Valley has 96 known active cases of Covid-19 including 9 in Saguache County.
Lake County is experiencing a positivity rate of 11.07 percent and will find out if the state will impose stricter restrictions on Monday.
Chaffee County has amended the Public Health Order to include limiting gathering sizes to 10 people from no more than two households.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee.
