The Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting applications for a $500 scholarship aimed at supporting local students pursuing post-secondary education.
The scholarship will be awarded to one student who plans to attend either a vocational training program or an institution of higher learning within the state of Colorado. Eligible students can obtain applications through their school counselor’s office or by picking one up in person at the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office.
Completed applications must be returned to the sheriff’s office by 5 p.m. on February 26.
