The Chaffee County Landfill must suspend the acceptance of refrigerator, freezers, air conditioners, and other items containing freon gas.
The local professional agency that had previously removed freon per EPA requirements is no longer offering this service and so they cannot be accepted for disposal.
The landfill is able to accept many appliance units for scrap metal recycling once the freon has been professionally removed and when it has the accompanying EPA required written documentation.

His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado.
