Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center received a grant of $94,000 from the Colorado Department of Local Affairs for the Energy and Mineral Impact Assistance Fund program.
The grant will support the purchase of equipment for HRRMC’s South Park Health Care clinic in Fairplay. A new x-ray machine, as well as a new laboratory and information technology equipment, including computers, a phone system and a virtual conferencing system to connect the clinic directly to HRRMC.
HRRMC began managing South Park Health Care on March 1st of this year, which serves residents in and around Alma, Como, Fairplay, Hartsel and Jefferson.
