The Chaffee County Board of County Commissioners is initiating a review of the Chaffee County Land Use Code and Zoning Map that went into effect January 1, 2025. The Commissioners are soliciting comments for the “glitch bill” amendment process, an update designed to fix any errors, discrepancies, or technical issues with the new Land Use Code and Zoning Map, if deemed necessary.
The Commissioners have directed the Chaffee County Planning & Zoning Department to lead the glitch bill amendment process, subject to the approved schedule below. Comments from applicants or representatives that have experience submitting, receiving feedback on, and working through the development application process under the County’s new Land Use Code will be particularly helpful and informative.
