Chaffee County Commissioners will hold their regular meeting Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Chaffee County Courthouse.

Under the Consent Agenda, commissioners are expected to approve a Special Event Permit — with conditions — for the September concert at The Meadows in Buena Vista. They will also consider dissolving the Transportation Advisory Board and approve an employment contract with County Administrator Beth Helmke.

In additional business, commissioners will consider a Co-Response Intergovernmental Agreement with local municipalities. They will also hear a presentation from ECO-Resolutions regarding wildlife-vehicle collision mitigation efforts in the county.

Commissioners are scheduled to consider action related to the current Small Business Administration federal funds freeze as well.

The agenda also includes interviews with candidates for openings on the Planning Commission and the Chaffee County Common Ground Citizen Advisory Committee.

Following the public meeting, commissioners will adjourn into executive session to receive legal advice regarding Cooper vs. Chaffee County.

A work session is scheduled to take place today ahead of Tuesday’s regular meeting.
