Chaffee County Clerk and Recorder Lori Mitchell has been honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 40th Annual National Association of Election Officials Conference held in Salt Lake City.
The award recognizes Mitchell’s decades of service, innovation, and dedication to ensuring fair, transparent, and secure elections.
In a press release, Mitchell said:
“Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving the voters of Chaffee County and contributing to the integrity of elections in Colorado. Receiving this award reminds me of the importance of protecting our democracy and supporting every citizen’s right to vote.”
Mitchell has served Chaffee County through multiple election cycles and has been recognized statewide for her leadership in election integrity.
