Chaffee County Commissioners will conduct a work session today beginning at 9 am.   

Commissioners will meet as the Landfill, Human Services and Public Health committees.  Commissioners will also hear reports from department heads.   

Chaffee County Commissioners will hold a regular meeting tomorrow beginning at 9 am.   

The annual swearing in of Elected Officials and election of Chair and Vice-Chair will take place.   

In other business, commissioners will hold three public hearings dealing with the Bainbridge and Olson Heritage Water subdivision exemptions and the Valley View School Subdivision exemption for Public Benefit.   

Chaffee County Commissioners will also present a resolution recognizing Jim Wilson for his 8 years of service in the state legislature representing House District 60.

Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee.
