A weather system will move across our area Saturday and Sunday bringing the chance of a couple inches of new snow over the mountains each day. 

A slight chance of rain and high mountain snow can be expected today as a small system moves through.  Winds will be gusting to 30 mph.

New snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches will be possible over higher elevations this morning, with snow showers tapering off through the afternoon.

Snow is expected to spread across the area today, mainly across the higher terrain where 5 to 9 inches will be possible. A rain/snow mix is possible across the lower elevations this afternoon and evening.
