The Cotopaxi boys and girls were able to shake off losses to Sangre de Cristo over the weekend and earned a pair of wins against the Creede Miners to right their ships in 2021.
Last night on the Sports in the Rockies Coaches Show, we had a fantastic chat with a pair of girls coaches, as Robert Crowther and Albert Rodriguez of BV and Lake County basketball joined the show.
The Salida girls basketball team earned a win over the James Irwin Jaguars at home to start off what would end up being a sweep on the day of the Jaguars, with the boys earning a win on the road as well.
The Salida girls basketball team went on the road to Vanguard last week and fell in a tough challenge 75-21 to the Coursers.
The Buena Vista girls basketball team moved to 2-1 on the season as they traveled to James Irwin to take down the Jaguars 73-16 on Wednesday night last week.

The Buena Vista boys basketball team advanced to 2-0 on the year with an eight point win on the road at CSCS on Monday night.
The Salida boys overcame a slow first half and rolled to a 50 point second half on the way to a 2-0 start to the season.
The South Park Burros and the Moffat Cowboys faced off last week to open their season on Friday afternoon as the boys and girls of Fairplay took to the road.
