Colorado dispensaries sold over $218 million worth of marijuana in August, falling just short of the all-time record of $226 million in July.
According to the Colorado Department of Revenue the state collected more than $40 million in taxes and fees from August sales.
In the first 8 months of 2020, consumers purchases more than $1.4 billion worth of cannabis products.
