Chaffee County Public Health is reporting 11 new Covid-19 cases in the last 7 days, 20 in the last 14 days.

The two-week positivity rate in the county is 1.88 percent.   

One of the new 11 cases required hospitalization, the others are resting at home.   

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is currently at 48 percent capacity.   

Chaffee County Public Health will be hosting a Town Hall meeting Friday, October 24th, to share Covid-19 updates and its impact on the community.   

Chaffee County Public Health is offering free Covid-19 testing tomorrow in Buena Vista and Thursday in Salida. Appointments are required. To be screened and scheduled, call Public Health at 719-539-4510.   

The Fremont County Health Department is reporting 18 news cases of the virus in the community and 62 within the Department of Corrections.   

Lake County continues to see an increase in Covid infections. Lake County is reporting 5 new cases, 12 total cases are being monitored in Lake County.
