Arrest Warrants Issued in January 10 Salida Shooting Investigation

SALIDA, Colo. — Arrest warrants have been issued for two individuals in connection with a shooting that occurred on January 10 in the 100 block of C Street, according to the Salida Police Department.

Police Chief Russ Johnson said authorities are actively searching for 23-year-old Lilly Hay-Mcquire of Salida and 27-year-old David Cisneros of Colorado Springs.

Hay-Mcquire is wanted on multiple charges, including reckless endangerment, prohibited use of a weapon, and illegal discharge of a firearm. Cisneros is facing a charge of tampering with physical evidence related to the incident.

Law enforcement officials are asking anyone with information about the whereabouts of Hay-Mcquire or Cisneros to contact the Salida Police Department.

Police emphasized that there is no known ongoing threat to the community at this time, and the investigation remains active.
