Through December 23rd, you can name your price on the adoption fees on all adult animals (8 months and older) and half off adoption fees for all puppies and kittens!

Help get all of the shelter pets home for the holidays! 

“If you’ve been thinking of adding a cat or dog to your family, now is a great time to visit the shelter! We have several cats and dogs of all ages looking for a loving home,” said AVHS Operations Manager, Krissy Zic.

The shelter is open Monday through Saturday from noon to 5 pm. They recommend scheduling an appointment as some of our animals are in foster homes. Call or text 719-395-2737 to schedule an appointment.
