Ann was born in Carey, Ohio on May 17, 1934, and attended Miami of Ohio University obtaining a two-year degree in education. During this time, she met and married her husband Richard Senff Jr., on Feb. 18, 1954. After her husband graduated from college, they moved to Tinker AF Base in Oklahoma, where Richard was trained as a bomber pilot for the Korean war. After the war they moved back to Ohio until her husband was called to active duty during the Cuban Missile Crises. He was sent to Florida and when the crises were solved the family including the couple’s three children moved to Florida. In 1996 Ann and her husband moved to Cotopaxi, where on their property they kept horses. In 2015 the couple moved to Salida until Ann’s husband passed away, after which she lived with her son Butch in Nathrop, until her passing.
Ann enjoyed having her own business, a women’s clothing thrift shop, in Florida, running food banks in various churches, having family get togethers, knitting, team penning and riding her horses.
Ann’s cremation will be handled by Lewis & Glenn Funeral Home of Salida and instead of flowers, donations to the local Hospice would be appreciated.
