Buena Vista Trustees will conduct a regular meeting tonight beginning at 7pm. Under the consent agenda, Trustees will adopt a resolution recognizing Elizabeth Daigle and Jeff Ollinger as co-chairs of the Water Advisory Board. Under presentations, Sarah Briggs, Program Manager for Co-Response with the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office will give an update on the program.
In new business, Trustees will consider approving a ground lease agreement with the Boys and Girls Club, amend the municipal code regarding short-term rentals, will hold a public hearing on the 2027 budget, and will consider a memorandum of understanding regarding Proposition 123 affordable housing collaboration between the Towns of Buena Vista, Poncha Springs, City of Salida, Chaffee County and the Chaffee Housing Authority, authorizing the transfer of credits to the City of Salida.
A work session will precede the regular meeting at 5pm where Trustees will hear an Urban Land Institute Water Efficiency presentation.
The Board of Trustees meetings are held at the Community Center and are open to the public.
