Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center will begin offering a selection of hormone tests to add to its direct access laboratory testing (DAT) menu starting this week.
Through HRRMC’s DAT program, patients may order a selection of common lab tests at discounted prices without a medical provider’s order. The current lab offering includes tests such as the comprehensive metabolic panel, lipid panel, hemoglobin A1C, a variety of iron, thyroid and vitamin tests, and more.
New available DAT hormone tests include estradiol, follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), progesterone and testosterone.
According to their press release, a patient can access DAT services at HRRMC’s main hospital in Salida, where no appointment is needed. DAT is also offered at HRRMC’s outlying clinics in Salida, Buena Vista, Saguache, Westcliffe and Fairplay. Visit hrrmc.com/dat for more details.
