Salida City Council will conduct a regular meeting tonight beginning at 6pm.
As the Liquor Licensing Authority, Council will review and approve applications for several event liquor licenses and discuss the Offense Report stemming from an incident generated by the Salida Police Department as it relates to the liquor license for Arlie Dale’s Jug Liquor on F Street.
In unfinished business, Council will hold a public hearing on an ordinance concerning residency and active use requirements for short term rental licenses.
In new business, council will consider two resolutions: one supporting an application for the State of Colorado Community Development Block Grant and the other approving citizen appointments to the Parks, Recreation, Open Space and Trails Advisory Board.
Council will then adjourn to executive session to receive legal advice regarding the demolition of a dangerous building at 610 Walnut Street. Please register, by 4:30 pm the day of the meeting for Regular City Council Meeting
