There’s so much to love about Pet of the Week Louie, who is 16 years-young. Even at his wonderful age, Louie still enjoys the simple things in life—sunbathing on the catio, curling up in a warm lap for pets, and, of course, long afternoon naps. He deserves a loving family to spend his golden years with. To help him find that special home, Louie’s adoption fees have been waived, because giving a senior cat the love and comfort they deserve is truly priceless.
Today, Ark-Valley Humane Society is also highlighting one of its community programs: the Behavior Support Program. This program provides financial assistance to Chaffee County residents whose dogs are experiencing behavior challenges and who need support accessing professional training. The program was created to help keep pets with the people who love them, recognizing that sometimes families simply need a little extra support to stay together.
