A rapidly growing wildfire near Pagosa Springs was reported yesterday afternoon. The Rio Blanco Fire is currently at 120 acres with no containment. Mandatory evacuations have been ordered in the area.     

The Aspen Acres Fire in Custer, Pueblo, Fremont, and Huerfano counties has burned 102,000 acres with containment at 66%.  Burn scar flood risk remains elevated. 

The Willow Fire in Lake County west of Leadville is almost 7,200 acres with 64% containment.  Firefighters continue to make progress around the perimeter. 

The Gold Mountain Fire burning in Montrose, Ouray and Gunnison counties is just over 39,000 acres with 59% containment.

Stage 2 Fire Restrictions remain in effect for all public and private lands in Chaffee, Park, Lake, Saguache and Fremont Counties.

Custer County has moved to Stage 3 Fire Restrictions.  The highest level.
