Chaffee County Common Ground Competitive Grant Cycle Opens July 20th

The Chaffee County Common Ground Competitive Grant cycle will open on July 20th. 

This year, $450,000 is available to support projects that align with the program’s core goals: Strengthening forest health, conserve working ranches and farms, and manage impacts of growth to our outdoors. 

Grants are being facilitated by the Chaffee County Community Foundation and are open to government entities and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.  Projects may be located on public or private lands in Chaffee County and no new multi-year grants will be considered this cycle. 

The Chaffee County Common Ground Program was established through a local conservation funding measure that was approved by Chaffee County voters in 2018 (Ballot Issue 1A).
